What you’ll do
As a Senior Transport Planner/ Civil Engineer in our Transport team based in Adelaide, you’ll contribute to South Australian transport infrastructure projects and be part of a collaborative team that embraces challenges, welcomes diverse ideas, and engineers solutions with people and outcomes in mind.
- Deliver transport planning/ feasibility studies and options assessments for transport infrastructure projects.
- Contribute to transport and civil engineering projects by providing input into road design, drainage, services impacts etc.
- Prepare clear, technically robust reports, assessments and design documentation
- Use engineering judgement to develop and communicate well-reasoned, defensible technical responses
- Review technical analysis and provide practical recommendations that consider the broader project context
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients and government stakeholders
- Support project delivery, bids and work-winning activities across the South Australian transport market
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and designers
What you’ll bring
- A degree in Civil Engineering or relevant qualifications in transport planning with experience in transport projects, transport planning or civil infrastructure
- Approximately 7-12 years' experience delivering planning studies, roads, transport or civil infrastructure projects
- Strong transport planning capability, with road or general civil design experience desirable
- Strong technical writing skills and the ability to clearly explain and defend engineering recommendations
- A practical and adaptable approach, with a willingness to work across adjacent transport and civil engineering disciplines
- Strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience working within an engineering consultancy or complex infrastructure delivery environment
