Senior Civil Engineer

CCK Group is looking for a Senior Civil Engineer based in Türkiye to work remotely on international client projects through our Upwork agency.

A minimum of 10 years of professional civil engineering experience, fluent English, and a ready portfolio are mandatory. Please apply only if you meet all three requirements.

The role

You will work directly with international clients, including clients in the United States. This involves joining client meetings, discussing technical requirements, presenting your experience, and delivering engineering work within your area of expertise.

We are looking for an experienced engineer who can take technical responsibility, communicate confidently with clients, and manage their work independently.

Mandatory requirements

1. At least 10 years of professional civil engineering experience. You should have a substantial record of completed projects and be able to explain your responsibilities, technical decisions, and contributions.

2. Fluent spoken and written English. You must be comfortable participating in meetings with American clients, explaining engineering concepts, discussing project scope, and answering technical questions independently. If you cannot confidently hold a technical conversation in English, please do not apply.

3. A complete portfolio ready to share with your application. Your portfolio must demonstrate completed projects and clearly identify your role and contribution. We will use agreed portfolio examples in Upwork proposals to present your experience to prospective clients. Please include work you are permitted to share. Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.

Responsibilities

1. Attend discovery calls and technical meetings with prospective and existing clients.

2. Review project information, assess requirements, and help define the scope, deliverables, and realistic timelines.

3. Prepare and review engineering deliverables within your area of expertise.

4. Explain technical decisions, respond to client feedback, and communicate progress clearly.

5. Take responsibility for the quality and timely delivery of your assigned work.

Working arrangement and compensation

This is a remote contract opportunity with work organized on a project basis.

CCK Group will handle business development and pursue projects through Upwork that match your expertise. You will support technical discussions and deliver the agreed engineering work.

Compensation will be through an agreed commission on the projects you undertake. The commission percentage, responsibilities, and payment terms will be agreed before work begins.

You should be available for scheduled meetings with clients in United States time zones. We are looking to build an ongoing working relationship with the right engineer.
