Job Summary
Handle complex bodily injury claims with minimal supervision and guidance from the manager. Utilize current Claims technology.
The internal deadline to apply is 09/23/26. External applications will be accepted on a rolling basis while the position remains open.
Work Location
This position offers both remote and hybrid work locations. Candidates who reside within 50 miles of an office location (West Bend, Madison, Appleton) will be offered a hybrid work schedule. Candidates who are fully remote (beyond 50 miles) may occasionally be asked to travel to an office location for in-person engagement activities such as team meetings, training and corporate events.

Senior Bodily Injury Claims Representative

As a Senior Bodily Injury Claims Representative, you'll take the lead on high-exposure bodily injury claims, guiding investigations, evaluating coverage and liability, and negotiating fair resolutions for all parties involved. You'll have the autonomy to manage challenging files while also serving as a trusted resource and mentor to teammates. Responsibilities include handling complex bodily injury claims, evaluating coverage and damages, negotiating settlements, managing litigated files, maintaining reserves, and presenting select claims to committee.
What You'll Bring to the Role
- Experience handling complex bodily injury claims
- Strong investigation, coverage analysis, and liability assessment skills
- Proven negotiation and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience working with attorneys and litigated claims
- AIC, AINS, CPCU coursework, or other insurance education is a plus

Salary Statement
The salary range for this position is $68,000-$90,000.
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. Compensation decisions are made by West Bend and are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
