As a Senior Client Onboarding Specialist reporting to Senior Director of Client Onboarding, you'll play a critical role in enabling trading clients to successfully adopt and configure Nasdaq's cutting-edge trading platform, Eqlipse Trading. You will serve as the subject matter expert throughout the onboarding journey — delivering expert training, leading business configuration, and ensuring every client goes live with confidence.
You'll thrive in this position if you're client-focused, knowledgeable about financial markets, and energized by standing in front of a room and making complex ideas clear and actionable. This role is based in Stockholm and includes occasional global travel to support client onboarding across EMEA and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver tailored training programs and hands-on workshops to trading clients, ensuring a thorough understanding of platform functionality, workflows, and best practices.
- Lead business configuration activities, working directly with clients to translate their operational requirements into optimal platform settings.
- Develop and maintain training materials, including configuration guides, knowledge base articles, and workshop content specific to Eqlipse Trading.
- Assess and validate client readiness at each onboarding milestone, ensuring a smooth and confident path to go-live.
- Partner with Sales, Product, Technology, and Support teams to keep training content current and share client feedback that drives continuous platform improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Proven years of experience in client onboarding, training delivery, business configuration, or customer enablement within financial services or capital markets technology.
- Solid understanding of trading platforms, market infrastructure, or financial technology ecosystems.
- Demonstrated ability to explain complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences — from business users to technical teams — including leading presentations and group training sessions.
- Experience configuring enterprise software to meet client-specific business requirements.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent client engagements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Nasdaq products or other trading technology platforms.
- Familiarity with connectivity and integration standards used in trading environments (e.g., FIX protocol, APIs).
- Background in instructional design, e-learning tools (e.g., Articulate), or adult learning methodologies.
This position will be located in Stockholm, Sweden and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates. The role includes occasional international travel (approximately 2–3 times per year) to support client onboarding across global markets.
