About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer (AWS Infrastructure & Connectivity) to take full ownership of our AWS cloud infrastructure and design secure, reliable connectivity between our VPCs/AWS accounts and external partners, core banking networks, and on-premise systems using VPC Peering, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, and Site-to-Site VPN. Reporting directly to the DevOps Lead, you will serve as the core technical specialist responsible for hands-on AWS operations, network architecture design, L3 incident resolution, and supporting technical regulatory compliance.

What You Will Do

• AWS Cloud Infrastructure Management: Take full ownership of enterprise AWS cloud infrastructure (VPC, EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, CloudFront, Route53…), ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, and security compliance across almost all existing AWS services.
• Core Banking & Platform Support (Way4): Design, implement, and maintain secure connectivity between internal VPCs/AWS accounts and external partners (payment networks, card schemes, banking partners, regulators) and on-premise systems using VPC Peering, AWS Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, and Site-to-Site VPN; own routing, security group, and NACL design across multi-account, hybrid environments.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & CI/CD: Design, build, and maintain automated deployment pipelines (GitLab CI/Jenkins) and provision cloud and network infrastructure using Terraform/Ansible.
• Cloud FinOps & Cost Optimization: Lead AWS Savings Plan renewals, resource rightsizing, and automated scheduling for non-production environments to optimize cloud expenditure.
• Disaster Recovery (DC-DR) & Reliability: Execute application-level Disaster Recovery failover drills for core banking systems in compliance with State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) regulations.
• Regional Collaboration: Partner with Kredivo Group’s regional Platform Engineering teams across SEA to align cloud architecture, security benchmarks, and release practices.

What We Are Looking For

Must-have

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience as a DevOps or Cloud Engineer managing production enterprise workloads on AWS.
• Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), configuration management (Ansible), and Linux OS administration (RHEL/CentOS).
• AWS Networking & Hybrid Connectivity: Hands-on expertise designing and operating VPC Peering, AWS Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, Site-to-Site VPN, and multi-account routing/security architecture for partner and hybrid cloud integrations.
• Deep experience in building robust CI/CD pipelines and containerization orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS).
• Practical experience in AWS cost management, FinOps strategies, and resource scheduling.
• Professional English communication skills for working with regional engineering teams.

Nice to have

• Experience in Fintech, Digital Banking, or PCI DSS compliant payment environments.
• Exposure to Core Banking systems or Way4 platform infrastructure, including RHEL OS upgrades, Java/JDK runtime management, and deployment automation for Core Card applications.
