Senior Compliance Manager (Legal, Privacy & AI Governance) (f/m/x)

Seven Senders is growing, and so is the regulatory and contractual complexity that comes with running a cross-border logistics platform. We're looking for a senior generalist to own legal, compliance, data protection, and AI governance topics for the business; and to build a centralized function for procurement compliance and controlling from scratch. This is a hands-on individual contributor role: you'll be the go-to person for contract review, GDPR questions, compliance training, and AI regulation readiness, while standing up lightweight procurement processes. You'll report to the Head of Finance & GRC and work alongside a working student who supports the team. Your main responsibilities: GDPR & data protection: field questions from the business, customers, and prospects; maintain documentation; track regulatory developments; run internal training; work closely with our external DPO Compliance: keep policies and documentation current; monitor regulatory change and translate it into business processes; deliver training across the company Support contract review: review and negotiate NDAs and legal terms in customer and supplier contracts; coordinate with external counsel where needed AI compliance: maintain documentation, define and roll out training, own the implementation roadmap, and answer customer and prospect questions on our AI governance Procurement: design and implement a centralized function for procurement compliance and controlling for the company Ad hoc due diligence and project support across finance, legal, and the wider business This is what you need to succeed: Strong hands-on attitude and experience in compliance, privacy, or contract negotiation; a law degree is a plus 5+ years in a generalist legal, compliance, or privacy role; ideally in-house at a scale-up Solid working knowledge of GDPR and German compliance frameworks; exposure to AI governance is a plus Fluent German and English Comfortable moving between strategic work (an AI governance roadmap) and operational work (answering a customer's DPA question) in the same day A mentoring mindset; as you'll guide our working student on day-to-day GRC tasks What we offer: Flexible & Hybrid Work: Our office is at Alexanderplatz; we have a hybrid working model with flexible remote-office set-up and working hours.
