Senior Product Manager - ZEOS Tech Compliance (all genders)

As a Senior Product Manager (Technical Compliance) in the ZEOS Data Team , you will report to the Head of Data and play a pivotal role in shaping how technical compliance requirements are translated into scalable product solutions across our systems, platforms, and partner integrations. This role sits at the intersection of product, technology, legal, privacy, and operational execution — ensuring that our products and technical landscape meet evolving regulatory obligations while enabling business growth at scale. You will own and drive the product strategy for technical compliance domains by collaborating closely with engineers, architects, legal, security, privacy, operations, and partner-facing product teams. Your mission is to ensure that compliance requirements are embedded into product design and technical implementation early, pragmatically, and sustainably — whether related to customer data lifecycle, retention and deletion, API compliance, auditability, platform controls, or regulatory readiness. This includes managing the end-to-end lifecycle of technical compliance initiatives: from identifying regulatory or internal control needs, translating them into clear product requirements, prioritizing roadmap investments, driving technical implementation, and continuously improving compliance capabilities across systems. WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING) Define and Execute Compliance Product Strategy: Develop and drive a clear product strategy for technical compliance topics, ensuring alignment with business goals, platform scalability, and evolving regulatory requirements across multiple markets. Translate Regulations into Scalable Product Solutions: Work closely with legal, privacy, security, and engineering teams to transform regulatory and internal compliance requirements into pragmatic technical product solutions that can be implemented across systems and processes. Own Technical Compliance Domains End-to-End: Lead product initiatives related to technical compliance topics such as personal data deletion, retention controls, auditability, consent handling, platform governance, API compliance, and technical policy enforcement. Collaborate Cross-Functionally Across Business and Tech: Partner with engineering teams, architects, operational stakeholders, legal experts, and other product managers to ensure compliance solutions are deeply integrated into the broader product ecosystem. Balance Compliance, Scalability, and Business Pragmatism: Prioritize compliance requirements alongside technical feasibility, operational impact, and business value. Ensuring solutions are sustainable, scalable, and proportionate. Drive Compliance-by-Design Product Thinking: Embed compliance requirements early into product discovery, technical design, and delivery processes rather than treating them as downstream controls. Improve Transparency and Governance: Establish clear documentation, decision frameworks, and product visibility around compliance topics to support internal alignment, external audits, and long-term maintainability. Anticipate Regulatory and Technical Change: Stay informed on relevant regulatory developments, technical standards, and industry best practices to proactively evolve our product landscape. WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex system problems where product, regulation, and architecture meet. We are looking for someone who wants to build compliance capabilities that scale with business growth rather than slow it down. Product or project management experience : You have 4+ years of product or project management experience, ideally in technical platform products, internal systems, compliance-heavy environments, or infrastructure domains. Experience in logistics, marketplaces, SaaS, fintech, or regulated environments is a strong plus. Strong Technical Understanding: You have strong experience in working closely with engineers and technical stakeholders and have deep understanding of system dependencies, APIs, platform architecture, data flows, and technical constraints to drive meaningful product decisions. Compliance and Regulatory Affinity: You have intense experience in directly working together with legal, privacy, security teams. You have experience working on products involving technical compliance, privacy, security, governance, internal controls, or regulated requirements. You do not need to be a legal expert, but you know how to translate complex requirements into product execution. Knowledgeable in data area: You have a basic understanding of different concepts in AI, data engineering, data warehousing, data infrastructure, analytics and cloud-based data technologies (e.g. AWS, Google Cloud), or yourself were a data consumer before (e.g. analyst, data scientist, data engineer) Strong Stakeholder Management: You are highly effective in navigating complex organizations and aligning diverse stakeholders across engineering, legal, operations, privacy, and leadership. Structured Communicator: You communicate clearly, document decisions well, and can explain complex technical or compliance topics to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strategic Product Thinking: You can define product vision, strategy, and roadmap in complex environments where requirements come from multiple domains and stakeholders, balancing risk, business priorities, and technical debt.
