What's your role?

You will be part of our RoadAI team of strong professionals. RoadAI combines a user-friendly AI tool with high-quality geospatial video data and reliable methodology to simplify and improve pavement inventory and management. In this field you will own model training, evaluation and deployment for RoadAI's detection and classification stack. You will contribute to developing and implementing machine learning models for computer vision tasks as well as designing and optimizing data pipelines for efficient data processing and model training. We are looking for creative engineers and technologists that enjoy being challenged and are enthusiastic about creating great products and innovative solutions.

In this role you will be working in close co-operation with our computer vision instructors, development team, product leads, sales and marketing. You will report to Head of Development.

Professional expertise

  • Deep learning for computer vision, including segmentation, detection, and classification
  • Strong experience with CNNs, model evaluation, metrics, and threshold tuning
  • Production model lifecycle experience, including ML pipelines and MLOps engineering
  • Strong Python skills and experience with TensorFlow and PyTorch
  • Experience with data pipelines and ETL processes
  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in computer science or equivalent experience
  • Fluency in English

Bonus skills

  • Knowledge about classical computer vision and projective geometry
  • A DevSecOps mindset with an eye for secure and efficient workflows
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (especially AWS) and containerization technologies
