Job Description Job Title: Senior Consultant, Assessment Salary Min: 102,600.00 CAD Salary Max: 121,800.00 CAD Country: Canada Full-time/Part-time: Full-time Senior Consultant, Assessment Esri Canada has an exceptional opportunity for a full-time Senior Consultant to join our Assessment department. Reporting to the Manager, Solution Analysis, the Senior Consultant, Assessment is responsible for leading complex client engagements and providing specialized domain expertise in support of Esri Canada’s Assessment Analyst: Geographic‑Assisted Mass Appraisal (AA GAMA) solution. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, this role applies deep assessment and Computer‑Assisted Mass Appraisal (CAMA) expertise to interpret client requirements, shape solution approaches, and align business needs with Esri technology, while contributing to consistent, high-quality consulting and delivery practices within the Assessment practice. This role will be based remotely in Canada. A Day in the Life of a Senior Consultant at Esri Canada: Lead complex client engagements, including requirements analysis, solution definition, and delivery planning for AA GAMA implementations. Facilitate client workshops and working sessions, including product demonstrations, to elicit, analyze, and validate business and functional requirements, recommend assessment process and data design improvements, and support client training on product solutions.. Interpret legislative, jurisdictional, valuation, and workflow requirements and translate them into practical, scalable solution approaches. Collaborate with Project Managers, Solution Architects, and technical teams to support integrated solution design and delivery. Collaborate with Product teams to identify gaps and develop creative solutions, recommending process and product improvements to support alignment between client needs and product capabilities. Identify delivery risks, dependencies, and gaps, and support mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle. Contribute to project scoping, estimation, statements of work, and delivery plans. Contribute to the improvement of delivery methodologies, templates, and reusable assets to support efficient, consistent, and high-quality solution delivery. Develop and review key consulting deliverables, including requirements documentation, process models, and solution recommendations. What you bring to the team: Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in the assessment industry and exposure to CAMA systems and valuation workflows. Experience leading or significantly contributing to complex initiatives involving business analysis, requirements definition, and solution delivery within client, stakeholder, or organizational contexts. Appraisal or assessment designation from a recognized industry association, professional institute, or provincial regulatory body (such as the International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO), the Appraisal Institute of Canada (AIC), or the Appraisal Institute (AI), as well as designations issued by provincial assessment authorities). Breadth of experience applying the three recognized approaches to valuation, including application of valuation methodologies within a mass appraisal context (such as modelling). Professional certification in business analysis, project management, or Agile methodologies related to development and delivery (such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or Scrum-related certifications). Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business, GIS, Geography, Public Administration, Computer Science, or related field. An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered. Fluency in English is essential, as this role requires regular client communication and support in English-speaking regions Additional requirements for this position: Proven ability to interpret complex and ambiguous client requirements and legislation and translate them into practical solution approaches. Exceptional analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills applied to complex business, assessment, and operational challenges. Proven ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining quality and meeting delivery commitments. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, including facilitation of workshops and engagement with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools, including Copilot and Azure DevOps. Experience with data mapping, data validation, data conversion process, and troubleshooting data-related issues. Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical code, including SQL queries, reporting logic, XML, and HTML. Bilingual proficiency (English / French) is considered an asset.
