Senior Consultant - Construction Advisory

The ideal candidate combines strong technical and analytical capabilities with excellent client-facing skills. Experience working on large-scale data centre, industrial, infrastructure, or complex commercial projects will be viewed favorably, particularly where lender advisory, project monitoring, or project controls responsibilities were a core component of the role. You are an experienced Consultant or Senior Consultant with a minimum of 5 - 10 years post-graduate experience looking for the next step or are currently undertaking a similar role in a similar environment. As a Senior Consultant, you will be involved in: Leading the preparation of Technical Due Diligence Reports for lenders, investors, and financial institutions , with a focus on mission-critical and data centre developments. Managing and preparing Monthly Monitoring Reports throughout the construction phase, providing lenders with independent assessments of project progress, risks, costs, schedule, and overall project health. Acting as a trusted technical advisor to lenders throughout the project lifecycle, providing insight on contractual documentation, procurement strategies, project execution plans, budgets, schedules, operational readiness, and project risks. Supporting complex data centre developments through all stages of delivery, including planning, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operational readiness. Interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages Research related to construction market conditions throughout Canada, including analysis of official published data Developing new business opportunities with existing and new Turner & Townsend clients Knowledge management – Ensuring that key information and learning generated from each commission is inputted into internal databases and shared. Quality Control – Ensuring compliance with quality standards and participation in ISO audits Ensuring commissions are managed to the right quality standards and are completed efficiently and on time Ensuring service delivery on commissions is in line with the conditions of appointment 5-10+ years of relevant experience within construction, project management, project controls, infrastructure advisory, lender's technical advisory, or a related construction consulting environment. Direct experience preparing and/or reviewing Technical Due Diligence Reports and Construction Monitoring Reports on behalf of lenders or financial institutions. Experience with data center developments and mission-critical facilities is strongly preferred. A recognized university degree Membership in relevant professional organizations is a bonus (CIQS / RICS) The base salary range for this full-time role is $90,000 - $120,000 per year . Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package.  Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate’s experience and qualifications.
