Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for a (Senior) Consultant Public Sector (NL) to join our Public Sector team within KPMG Belgium.

In this role, you will support public sector organizations in improving their strategies, operating models and ways of working. You will contribute to a variety of projects, ranging from organizational strategy development and transformation programs to process optimization and change initiatives. Working alongside experienced colleagues and clients, you will help create meaningful and sustainable impact within the public sector.

Roles & responsibilities

• Assist with development of a management strategy in the public sector.
• Contribute to the design and improvement of operational processes and ways of working.
• Analyze organizations and translate findings into clear insights and recommendations.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative research to support client engagements.
• Participate in transformation and change projects.
• Contribute to the growth and development of our Public Sector practice by helping shape new service offerings, monitoring sector trends and building relationships within the market.

Skills & Qualifications

• A Master's degree and 2 to 5 years of p total working experience in either strategic and/or management consulting with a focus on public sector.
• Experience in one or more of the following areas is considered an asset: strategy development; transformation and change programs; business process improvement; organizational design and process architecture.
• A proactive and collaborative approach, with the ability to adapt to changing client and project needs.
• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English.
• You are confident working with AI tools, have a critical mindset in using AI in everyday tasks and team collaboration.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and an interest in helping organizations navigate change.
• Experience in organizational change management is a plus.
