  • Starting Salary: $92,539.20 + more for experience

The Senior HR Consultant partners directly with the VP of Talent and Organizational Effectiveness to design, coordinate, and execute strategic people initiatives that strengthen talent density, elevate workforce capability, and improve business performance. This role serves as a strategic project, program, and analytics advisor and works across HR, Talent, Finance, People Analytics, IT, and business leaders to move priorities forward.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced HR professional who enjoys working at the executive level, managing multiple priorities, turning data into action, and helping shape the future of talent strategy. The ideal candidate brings strong HR and organizational effectiveness experience, excellent Workday skills, comfort using AI-enabled tools, and the ability to create clear, polished executive presentations. Healthcare experience is highly preferred.

What you’ll do

In this role, you will:

  • Lead planning, coordination, and execution of cross-functional HR and talent initiatives sponsored by the VP of Talent and Organizational Effectiveness.
  • Build project charters, workplans, timelines, and success measures to keep initiatives organized and on track.
  • Partner with Talent, HR Business Partners, People Analytics, Finance, IT, and business leaders to drive alignment and timely delivery.
  • Support enterprise-wide initiatives that strengthen talent density, including skills-based hiring, internal mobility, reskilling, and organizational effectiveness efforts.
  • Help design and improve precision hiring and talent systems, including structured decision criteria, skills-based selection, and feedback loops.
  • Develop executive-level presentations, briefing materials, dashboards, one-pagers, and talking points for internal and external audiences.
  • Translate workforce analytics, AI insights, and organizational data into clear recommendations for executive decision-making.
  • Partner with People Analytics and HRIS to build and maintain dashboards related to talent, internal mobility, skills, performance, and retention.
  • Track key metrics and surface insights that help the VP and HR leadership identify risks, opportunities, and priority actions.
  • Support light workforce planning by consolidating demand signals, hiring plans, and capability needs into actionable views.
  • Coordinate workforce development, reskilling, and internal mobility initiatives using the Four R Framework: Recruit, Retain, Reskill, and Redesign.
  • Establish project governance routines, milestone tracking, decision logs, and risk and issue registers for key initiatives.
  • Prepare follow-up communications, decision summaries, and next-step requests to keep teams accountable and momentum strong.
  • Conduct research on best practices in talent acquisition, AI in HR, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Analyze internal and external data and develop options, scenarios, and recommendations for executive leaders.
  • Provide some administrative support to the VP as needed, in partnership with the Executive Assistant.

What we’re looking for

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or related field
  • 7+ years of progressive HR, Talent, HR consulting, or Organizational Effectiveness experience, including work with senior executives
  • Experience using data and analytics to drive talent strategy

Preferred:

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or related field
  • Healthcare industry experience
  • Experience applying AI-enabled tools, workforce intelligence platforms, or generative AI solutions in HR, talent, workforce planning, learning, or organizational effectiveness
  • Strong Workday skills
  • Experience coordinating multiple projects and priorities
  • Strong executive communication skills, including building polished PowerPoint presentations
  • Comfort supporting senior leaders with both strategic and administrative needs

The ideal candidate

You’re someone who can think strategically and execute well. You know how to bring structure to complex work, keep multiple projects moving, and communicate clearly with executive leaders. You’re comfortable working with data, dashboards, and AI-enabled tools, and you know how to turn information into practical recommendations.
