Is this job info correct?

Job Description: Pluralsight's legal department is looking for an experienced Senior Contracts Manager to join our EMEA Contracts team. This is a hands-on commercial role covering a broad range of agreement types, from NDAs and MSAs through to DPAs and vendor contracts, and will suit someone who brings sharp legal judgement, genuine commercial instinct, and the confidence to negotiate directly with customer legal and procurement teams. If you are someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of negotiations end to end, and knows when to push back and when to close, we would like to hear from you. Who you’re committed to being: You enjoy learning and are open to new ways of doing things. You are not afraid to be yourself, experiment, make mistakes and learn from them, ask questions, or voice your concerns. When communicating you are self-aware, insightful, and proactive. You are a team member first and individual contributor second. You are aware that high-performing teams are only as strong as their weakest link. You believe in continuous improvement and request frequent feedback from others. What you’ll do: Analyse, interpret, and negotiate sophisticated provisions across a range of commercial agreements, including NDAs, MSAs, order forms, professional services agreements, DPAs, and customer-paper agreements, assessing risk, protecting Pluralsight's commercial interests, and driving negotiations to closure in line with agreed legal and business parameters. Engage directly with customer legal counsel and procurement teams on written redlines and live calls. Confidently hold and explain positions without needing to involve others on standard matters. Work cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, and other internal collaborators during contract review, providing clear guidance on Pluralsight's positions, escalation triggers, and acceptable deviations from standard terms. Manage contract workflow from initial request through negotiation, execution, and signature, ensuring deals progress efficiently and internal partners are kept advised. Assist with legal review and response to requests for proposals (RFPs) and requests for information (RFIs) as required for the commercial opportunity. Ensure compliance with GDPR and other applicable data protection legislation, including reviewing and negotiating data processing agreements and related schedules. Support contracts team initiatives and process improvement projects, and undertake additional assignments as advised by contracts team leadership. Experience you’ll bring: Extensive experience handling contracts (including drafting and negotiation) in a corporate environment, preferably supporting a SaaS or technology services business. Confirmed ability to negotiate directly with external counterparties, including customer legal counsel and procurement, across written redlines and live calls, with confidence to hold and explain positions without escalation. Strong commercial judgement, with the ability to identify and articulate risk in business transactions and provide pragmatic, deal-oriented advice to Sales and operational teams. Ability to lead multiple live negotiations simultaneously, prioritise effectively under pressure, and identify when escalation is needed without being prompted. Requirements: Prior in-house experience at a SaaS or recurring-revenue technology business is a significant advantage. Candidates with this background will have a strong understanding of the commercial model and customer expectations this role operates within. Demonstrable knowledge of GDPR, data privacy rules, and commercial data processing agreements is strongly preferred. Proven experience negotiating AI-related contract provisions, including AI amendments, data training restrictions, output ownership, and acceptable use limitations, is a strong advantage as AI terms are an increasingly standard feature of our commercial agreements. Confidence working within a contracts technology environment, including CLM and electronic signature platforms, is expected at this level. This is a remote role; however, applicants located within 50 km of our Dublin office should expect to work on-site Wednesday and Thursday, with remote flexibility on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays. This approach enables more effective collaboration, quicker decision-making, and a stronger culture, while still providing flexibility. Education and Experience Requirements A minimum of 8 years of contracts experience in a comparable environment is required, reducing to 6 or more years for candidates with a relevant postgraduate qualification. A degree in law, business, or a related discipline is preferred. Candidates without a formal qualification will be considered on the strength of their experience. Why you’ll love working here: We work in a blended environment that supports collaboration, flexibility, and connection across teams. We are mission-driven, shaping the future of tech upskillling and delivering impact that matters. We foster a culture of inclusion and belonging, where everyone can contribute and thrive. We are always learning, creating an environment where you can take on new challenges, expand your skills, and grow with purpose. Benefits include competitive compensation, bonus eligibility, comprehensive medical coverage, unlimited PTO, wellness reimbursement, professional development funds, and more. About us: Pluralsight provides the only learning platform dedicated to accelerating the technology skills and capabilities of today’s tech workforce. Thousands of companies, government organizations and individuals around the world rely on Pluralsight to support critical technology skill development in areas that are crucial to innovation including artificial intelligence, cloud computing, cybersecurity, software development, and machine learning. Pluralsight provides highly curated content developed by vetted technology experts, industry leading skill assessments, and hands on, immersive learning experiences designed to help individuals skill-up faster. Physical Requirements: This role is primarily performed in an office or home office setting and involves standard computer-based work. EEOC & Accommodations Statement: Bring yourself. We evaluate qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, age, or veteran status.
