Job Summary

We’re looking for a Senior Contracts Specialist to lead the administration, negotiation, and monitoring of commercial agreements across Chromalloy. In this role, you’ll help protect the business, keep key obligations and deadlines on track, and partner with teams across the organization to support successful customer and supplier relationships.

Location: US Remote (Eastern Time Zone)

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Draft, review, revise, and administer commercial agreements, including NDAs, MSAs, LTSAs, subcontracts, supplier agreements, and request-for-quote documents.
  • Negotiate contracts with medium-to-large dollar values and complex technical or program requirements, ensuring terms are acceptable to the company.
  • Monitor contract milestones, deadlines, obligations, renewals, expiration dates, and overall performance.
  • Identify contract risks, compliance concerns, and potential issues, then recommend practical corrective actions.
  • Partner with business units and support functions on contract interpretation, corporate governance, policies, and procedures.
  • Research new and updated regulations and assess their impact on current and future agreements.
  • Provide clear contract analysis and guidance to key stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
  • Maintain the contract database, agreement files, form documents, and legal templates.
  • Manage multiple time-sensitive projects while maintaining a high level of accuracy, quality, and organization.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of progressive experience, including at least 5 years in an equivalent commercial contracts role within a similar operating environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of contract drafting, negotiation, purchase order terms and conditions, subcontracts, supplier agreements, and non-disclosure agreements.
  • Ability to understand business objectives, identify major contract issues, and develop practical compromise solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Proven ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet time-sensitive deadlines.
  • High level of discretion, professionalism, integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications.

Nice to Have

  • Juris Doctor (JD).
  • Experience in an in-house legal department or law firm with a strong focus on commercial contract drafting.
  • Experience in the aerospace, energy, or military industries.

This position may require work hours outside of the regularly scheduled hours to meet operational needs. This may include work during evenings, weekends, and/or holidays. Additional work hours are assigned based on business requirements. Non-exempt employees will be paid overtime in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.

The salary range for this position reflects a broad spectrum of experience levels. Individual compensation within the range is determined by multiple factors, including relevant experience, education, certifications, job related skills, internal equity, and market conditions. We evaluate each candidate individually to ensure fair and competitive pay decisions.
