Senior Controller (NetSuite) Work Arrangement / Work Shift: Fully Remote / US Shift: CST or EST Role Overview: We are hiring an experienced Controller with deep NetSuite expertise to oversee accounting operations, ensure financial accuracy, and manage reporting for US-based clients. This role is highly hands-on and responsible for review, oversight, and financial leadership. This is a full-time remote role based in the Philippines, aligned with US CST or EST business hours. What You’ll Be Doing: Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and close process Lead and review month-end and year-end close Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and workpapers Ensure compliance with accrual accounting and US GAAP principles Manage and analyze cash flow and forecasting Prepare and review financial statements and reporting packages Establish and improve accounting processes and internal controls Serve as a primary accounting lead for US clients/stakeholder Mentor and review work of senior and staff accountants Ensure integrity and accuracy of NetSuite financial data What You’ll Need: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 6-8+ years of accounting experience 3+ years in a senior or leadership role (Controller, Accounting Manager, etc.) Strong expertise in NetSuite (required) Experience with QuickBooks (a plus) Advanced knowledge of accrual accounting and US GAAP Strong experience managing month-end close and financial reporting Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and leadership abilities What Will Set You Apart: Experience with QuickBooks Ability to work independently in a remote environment Experience in outsourced accounting or consulting firm Experience managing multiple entities or clients Strong background in cash flow management and forecasting About Atticus: Atticus Advisory Solutions Inc. is a specialized remote staffing and IT offshoring firm based in the Philippines, providing vetted, high-quality Filipino talent to global tech startups, SMEs, and consulting firms, focusing heavily on niche areas like ERP (NetSuite), Accounting and Finance and IT, offering integrated recruiting, upskilling, and HR support to ensure high retention and reliable offshore teams.
