The Role: Senior Copywriter
We are seeking a conceptually strong Senior Copywriter to join our creative team, supporting a leading luxury automotive client across a portfolio of iconic brands.
As a Senior Copywriter, you’ll combine big-picture creative thinking with sharp, beautifully crafted writing. You’ll work across everything from original brand ideas and experiential activations to CRM, digital, social, and campaign extensions, bringing a strong point of view and distinctive voice to every brief.
Working closely with Creative Directors, Art Directors, Designers, and cross-functional teams, you’ll help develop ideas from the earliest stages through final execution. You should be just as excited about cracking a larger brand platform as you are finding the perfect headline, creating an unexpected activation, or evolving an existing campaign for a new audience or channel.
We’re looking for someone who genuinely loves brands, understands how language builds them, and is excited to immerse themselves in the world of automotive and luxury.
Key Responsibilities:
· Creative Concepting: Develop original campaign ideas, brand concepts, and creative platforms that can live across multiple channels and touchpoints.
· Copywriting: Write sharp, distinctive, and beautifully crafted copy across brand, digital, CRM, social, experiential, and activation work.
· Brand Voice: Understand and protect distinct brand voices, finding fresh ways to express each brand while maintaining consistency and authenticity.
· Brand Activations & Experiences: Concept creative activations, partnerships, events, and experiences that give audiences new ways to engage with the brands.
· Campaign Evolution: Adapt and evolve existing global and campaign ideas for the North American market, ensuring the writing feels natural, relevant, and true to the original creative idea.
· Creative Partnership: Collaborate closely with Art Directors and Creative Directors to develop ideas as a team from initial concept through execution.
· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with strategy, production, account, CRM, social, and other disciplines to create work that connects across the wider customer experience.
· Presenting Ideas: Clearly articulate creative thinking and confidently present concepts, copy, and campaign ideas to internal teams and client stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will:
· Be a Big-Idea Thinker: Able to find the central creative idea behind a brief and develop concepts that can stretch across channels.
· Be a Strong Writer: Bring a distinctive voice and an instinct for memorable headlines, brand language, storytelling, and longer-form copy.
· Love Brands: Be fascinated by what makes brands distinctive and excited by the challenge of building and evolving a brand voice.
· Be Comfortable Flexing: Equally happy developing a larger conceptual campaign or getting into the details of day-to-day copy needs.
· Be Highly Collaborative: Love partnering with Art Directors, Designers, Creative Directors, and multidisciplinary teams to make the work stronger.
· Bring Energy: Be curious, enthusiastic, and genuinely excited to immerse yourself in the brands and the automotive category.
Qualifications & Experience:
· Experience in a Copywriter role within a creative, advertising, or integrated agency environment.
· A strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual campaign thinking, excellent writing, and integrated creative work.
· Experience across brand campaigns, experiential, activations, digital, CRM, and/or social.
· Automotive experience is highly valued, with luxury or premium brand experience also a strong plus.
· The ability to write across different tones and formats while maintaining a clear and distinctive brand voice.
· Comfortable managing multiple briefs and working in a fast-paced, collaborative creative environment.
· We are open to strong Copywriters who are ready to take the next step into a Senior Copywriter role.
· A degree of some sort will help us understand your background and point of view.
