The successful candidate will serve as a subject matter resource within Corporate Accounting, partnering with stakeholders across Finance and the broader organization to support complex accounting matters, enhance financial processes, and contribute to a strong control environment.
The role provides the successful candidate with the opportunity to:

- Partner with finance and business stakeholders across a global organization to address complex accounting and reporting matters.
- Drive process transformation, standardization, and automation initiatives across the accounting function.
- Develop expertise in accounting processes supporting an organization with multiple manufacturing sites, a broad portfolio of products and services, and over 90 legal entities across nearly 50 countries.
- Influence accounting and business decisions through financial analysis and process recommendations.
- Gain exposure to strategic business initiatives, acquisitions, and finance transformation activities.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Lead key aspects of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes related to the Company's worldwide balance sheet in compliance with U.S. GAAP.
- Prepare, review, and analyze complex journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of financial reporting.
- Perform detailed balance sheet analytics and proactively identify risks, unusual transactions, and emerging accounting issues.
- Support the preparation and review of financial statement disclosures and other external reporting requirements.
- Serve as a primary accounting resource for unintegrated acquired entities, including oversight of account reconciliations, manual journal entries, and related subledger activities across multiple ERP environments.
- Research, document, and communicate technical accounting conclusions and accounting policy considerations to management.
- Identify and communicate accounting issues, unusual fluctuations, and process improvement opportunities to Corporate Accounting leadership.
- Ensure compliance with established accounting policies, procedures, and internal control requirements while recommending enhancements to strengthen the control environment.
- Partner with Corporate Accounting leadership on the implementation and interpretation of accounting policies and the consistent application of accounting practices across the organization.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on automation, simplification, standardization, and optimization of accounting and reporting processes.
- Drive special projects and strategic initiatives that enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the financial close and reporting environment.
- Lead testing and implementation activities associated with system upgrades, ERP enhancements, and finance transformation initiatives.
- Execute and evaluate internal controls over financial reporting in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and identify opportunities to improve control effectiveness and operational efficiency.
- Serve as a key contact for internal and external auditors by coordinating requests, preparing supporting documentation, and addressing audit inquiries.
- Provide guidance, mentoring, and knowledge sharing to less experienced accounting team members as appropriate.
Who You Are:
