A global market-leading technology company is seeking an experienced Senior Cyber Security Engineer to join its cyber defense function and help strengthen security operations across a large, international environment.

This is an opportunity to work on complex security challenges at enterprise scale, partnering with cyber defense teams across multiple regions while supporting the continuous evolution of detection and response capabilities.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design and enhance detection engineering capabilities
• Investigate and respond to security incidents
• Conduct digital forensics and malware analysis when required
• Leverage threat intelligence to improve defensive capabilities
• Drive security automation and orchestration initiatives
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and remediate security control gaps
• Help shape modern detection and response strategies based on evolving threat landscapes

What We're Looking For

• 6+ years of experience in information security
• Background in Security Operations, Incident Response, Detection Engineering, Threat Hunting, or Cyber Defense
• Experience with SIEM, EDR, or network security technologies
• Familiarity with cloud security environments (AWS, Microsoft 365, etc.)
• Scripting or automation skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash, etc.) are advantageous
• Business-level Japanese and English communication skills
• Comfortable working in a global, cross-functional environment
