Senior D365 Finance & Operations Developer

Role Overview: We are seeking a hands-on Senior D365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Developer to join our team in Noida. This is a purely technical individual contributor role with a strong focus on development and enterprise reporting. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in X++ development, combined with strong capabilities in SSRS and Power BI reporting, and experience working with integrations and Power Platform technologies. Key Responsibilities: D365 F&O Development -  Design, develop, and maintain customizations using X++ and extension-based development (no overlayering)  Work with standard D365 frameworks (SysOperation, Data Entities, Batch jobs, etc.)  Develop and maintain integrations using OData, REST APIs, and custom services  Ensure solutions follow Microsoft best practices and are upgrade-safe  Troubleshoot and resolve application, data, and integration issues  Contribute to code quality through reviews and adherence to development standards Reporting & Data Solutions (Core Focus) -  Design and develop SSRS reports within D365 F&O  Build and maintain Power BI datasets, semantic models, and dashboards  Translate business requirements into scalable reporting solutions and data models  Work with data entities, SQL, and external data sources for reporting and analytics  Optimize data extraction and transformation processes across D365 and external systems Power Platform & Automation -  Support integrations with Dataverse  Build and enhance automation solutions using Power Automate  Collaborate on Power BI and Power Apps solutions where required  Understand and support data flows between D365 F&O and Power Platform Required Skills & Experience -  6–10+ years of hands-on experience in D365 F&O / AX development  Strong expertise in: o X++ development and extensions o Data entities, integrations, and D365 architecture fundamentals  Proven experience with: o SSRS report development in D365 F&O o Power BI (data modeling, DAX, and report building)  Solid understanding of Finance modules (GL, AP, AR)  Strong SQL and data analysis skills  Experience with API-based integrations (OData, REST)  MB-500: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Apps Developer. certification (required) Highly Valued -  Strong knowledge of the Power Platform  Hands-on experience with Power Automate (process automation, workflows, integrations)  Experience with Dataverse / Dual-write  Exposure to Power Apps Familiarity with Azure services (Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus)  Working knowledge of Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and Lifecycle Services (LCS) Soft Skills -  Strong problem-solving and analytical skills  Ability to work independently in a hands-on development role  Clear communication with technical and functional stakeholders  Attention to detail and ownership of deliverables About Open Systems: Backed by the Service Experience Promise, Open Systems simply and cost-effectively connects and secures hybrid environments and thus ensures your organization can meet business objectives.
