Job Requirements Senior Data Analyst (Senior Consultant, Data & Analytics) We are seeking a Data Analyst as part of our Senior Consultant, Data & Analytics career path to lead the implementation, con fi guration, and optimization of web analytics solutions. This role will work closely with Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, and business stakeholders to develop measurement strategies, implement analytics tracking, validate data quality, and deliver actionable insights that support product and business objectives. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in evolving environments, building analytics capabilities from the ground up, and balancing meaningful analytics with privacy and compliance requirements. Your Responsibilities in this Role: ● Con fi gure, administer, and optimize Matomo Analytics, including goals, events, custom dimensions, segments, dashboards, and reporting. ● Con fi gure and support Google Analytics 4 and tag management platforms, including Google Tag Manager and Matomo Tag Manager. ● Develop measurement strategies that align analytics with business and product objectives. ● De fi ne key performance indicators, success metrics, reporting frameworks, and tracking plans. ● Translate business questions into measurable analytics requirements. ● Implement, validate, and troubleshoot analytics tracking across web applications. ● Partner with engineering teams to resolve analytics implementation and data quality issues. ● Develop dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights for stakeholders. ● Create analytics documentation, tracking speci fi cations, and implementation standards. ● Collaborate with Product, Design, Engineering, and business stakeholders throughout implementation. ● Apply privacy, consent management, and analytics best practices throughout the analytics lifecycle. Preferred Experience ● Experience administering self-hosted or on-premises Matomo environments. ● Experience exporting raw analytics data or using Matomo APIs to build custom reports, dashboards, or integrations. ● Experience using SQL, spreadsheets, or business intelligence tools to perform advanced data analysis. ● Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to support analytics implementation, event tracking validation, and troubleshooting. ● Experience establishing analytics processes and implementation standards in green fi eld environments. ● Experience supporting government, healthcare, civic technology, or other regulated industries.
