How you'll make an impact

Working within FCC's AWS data ecosystem, you'll develop and maintain data pipelines, integrations and data products that move information from source systems through the raw vault, business vault and reporting layers, ensuring trusted data is available where it's needed most.

You'll work closely with analysts, product teams, technology partners and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure and maintainable data capabilities that support business needs. As a senior member of the team, you'll also provide technical leadership, mentor others and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development practices.

What you’ll do

  • Design, develop, test and support data solutions that move information from source systems through the raw vault, business vault and reporting layers (Medallion Architecture)
  • Translate business, data and reporting requirements into reliable, scalable and maintainable technical solutions
  • Develop and support reporting, analytics and visualization capabilities using tools such as AWS QuickSight
  • Collaborate with analysts, product teams and stakeholders to understand data needs and ensure trusted information is available for reporting and decision-making
  • Troubleshoot, optimize and enhance existing data solutions with a focus on performance, quality, security and reliability
  • Contribute to code reviews, testing, documentation and continuous improvement practices within the team
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other team members, helping to strengthen development practices and technical capabilities across the team

What you’ll bring to the team

Required qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems or a related field
  • At least three years of related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Several years of experience designing, developing and supporting data solutions in cloud-based environments
  • Experience integrating third-party solutions into the AWS pipeline
  • Experience with AWS services or similar cloud-based data platforms
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience mentoring developers and providing technical leadership on complex initiatives

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience working with marketing platforms (Example: Hubspot, Contentful)
  • Experience working with Agile teams
  • Experience with data quality, data pipelines, APIs, automation or cloud-native development practices
  • Knowledge of software engineering practices such as version control, CI/CD, peer review and technical documentation
