Senior Data Engineer (Contract)

Hiflylabs is looking for experienced Senior Data Engineer partners for long-term project-based collaborations. We are looking for experts who value professional freedom and variety. We are open to discussing different levels of engagement, including both full-time and part-time (20-30 hours/week) roles, depending on our project pipeline and your availability. Responsibilities Design and implement modern data architectures and lakehouse solutions (Databricks, Snowflake, Azure, AWS). Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle and collaborate with business stakeholders. Create effort estimations and provide technical expertise during the pre-sales phase. Mentor 3-6 person project teams and ensure code quality (code reviews). Requirements At least 5 years of experience in data engineering. Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and data tools (Databricks or Snowflake). Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, or PySpark. Proven track record of designing and delivering complex data solutions. Excellent communication skills in both English and Hungarian. Valid B2B/Contractor status with the ability to issue invoices.
