Location: Budapest, Hungary | Reports to: Team Lead Data | Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days in the office as customer requirement) | Visa Requirements: Valid work visa for Hungary| Language Requirements: Professional level English& Hungarian

As Data Engineer you`ll be part of our Data & AI practice, and join a team of experienced data, cloud, security, and AI specialists who design and deliver enterprise-scale solutions for customers across multiple industries. This is an opportunity to play a key role in building data platforms powered by Microsoft Fabric and Azure. You will combine hands-on engineering with solution design, technical consulting, and collaboration with customer stakeholders to deliver business-critical data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement modern data solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Azure services.
• Build scalable data pipelines, lakehouse and warehouse solutions that support analytics and business reporting.
• Develop data transformations and data products using SQL, Python, and PySpark.
• Design reusable data models and contribute to enterprise data platform architecture.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust solutions.
• Support technical workshops, solution proposals, knowledge sharing, and mentoring within the team.

What we need to see from you

• Strong experience designing and delivering cloud-based data engineering solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and Azure data technologies.
• Strong SQL skills and practical experience with Python and/or PySpark.
• Knowledge of lakehouse, data warehouse, and modern data architecture concepts.
• Experience building data integration, ETL, or ELT solutions across multiple data sources.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with customers and internal teams.
