Senior Data Integration (SQL) Specialist

Contract: 12 months (subject to extension).

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Salary: Not a constraint for the right candidate!

Your Profile & DNA:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Integration (SQL) Specialist with strong expertise in SQL, ETL/ELT, data integration, data modelling, and the Banking & Financial Services domain.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale data integration solutions.
• Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions.
• Build and support ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and reconciliation.
• Integrate data across core banking, lending, credit, payments, CRM, finance, and digital platforms.
• Support data migration, transformation, and modernization initiatives.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, consistency, reconciliation, and lineage.
• Optimize database performance and support both batch and real-time data integration.
• Work closely with business and technical stakeholders on financial and regulatory reporting requirements.

Qualification & Experience

• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.
• 10+ years of overall IT experience.
• 8+ years of SQL development.
• 8+ years of Data Integration / ETL experience.
• 5+ years of Banking & Financial Services experience.
• 5+ years of Data Modelling experience.
• Strong expertise in SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, DB2, or equivalent databases.
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing, database design, performance tuning, data migration, and data governance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
