Our client, an in-house technology consultancy of a global consulting firm, is seeking an experienced Senior Data Modeller to drive the architecture, design, and scaling of analytics-ready data platforms. In this role, you will take technical ownership of dimensional modeling frameworks using the Kimball methodology, translating complex healthcare transactions into high-performance analytical data models that power critical enterprise decision-making.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Designing, maintaining, and scaling enterprise dimensional data models (star schema, snowflake schema) following strict Kimball methodology.
• Taking end-to-end modeling ownership of healthcare Encounters data (medical claims, member encounters, provider interactions).
• Developing and optimizing complex SQL queries for deep data profiling, transformation, and validation across massive datasets.
• Partnering closely with data engineering teams to implement and operationalize logical and physical models within data warehouse and lakehouse environments.
• Leading data quality checks, anomaly investigations, gap analyses, and troubleshooting across source and target systems.
• Authoring and maintaining clear architectural documentation, comprehensive data dictionaries, and source-to-target mapping specifications.
• Collaborating with BI and downstream analytics teams to ensure data models support real-time and reporting requirements.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven commercial track record as a Data Modeller or Data Architect delivering scalable enterprise analytical models.
• Deep domain background within the healthcare sector, specifically handling Encounters, medical claims, and payer/provider data structures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with meticulous attention to detail regarding data accuracy and regulatory integrity.
• Consultant mindset: ability to explain architectural trade-offs, guide technical teams, and translate business requirements into clean technical structures.
• High ownership attitude, comfortable driving complex data modeling initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Must-Haves:

• Advanced hands-on experience with Kimball dimensional modeling techniques (fact and dimension design, slowly changing dimensions - SCDs, star/snowflake schemas).
• Advanced SQL proficiency (complex query writing, performance tuning, debugging, and data profiling).
• Commercial healthcare industry experience with specific knowledge of Encounters, claims, member, or provider transactional workflows.
• Excellent English communication skills for daily cross-functional and stakeholder collaboration.
• Willingness to complete a HackerRank technical challenge as part of the recruitment process.
• Location: EU-based contractor eligible for a 12-month B2B engagement.

Location & Working Setup:

• 100% Remote working model (Within EU)
• US Hours overlap needed: Minimum 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM CET (preferred 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM CET).
• Availability for occasional in-person team workshops and collaborative sessions in Prague (typically 1–3 days once per quarter).
