Senior Data Quality Engineer at BairesDev

As a Senior Data Quality Engineer, you will own the automation of data quality frameworks within the lakehouse environment to guarantee trust and precision across enterprise data assets. You will serve as a key custodian of reliability, ensuring data products adhere to strict completeness SLAs and remain resilient against schema anomalies.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement automated data quality validation frameworks across pipelines and data products.
• Develop robust mechanisms for schema drift detection to capture format variations dynamically.
• Establish and enforce data completeness SLAs to guarantee high-integrity data availability.
• Build automated regression testing suites tailored to lakehouse architectures.
• Partner with engineering teams to identify, isolate, and resolve structural data defects.
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Quality, or a related role.
• Proven expertise in data quality automation within Databricks lakehouse environments.
• Hands-on experience implementing automated DQ validation, regression testing, and completeness SLAs.
• Strong knowledge of schema drift detection and Great Expectations or Deequ-style frameworks.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
