Senior Data Strategist (Barcelona)

Role As a Senior Data Strategist, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering high-impact data transformation initiatives for Visium’s clients. You will lead strategic workstreams, act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, and ensure the delivery of robust, actionable strategies grounded in strong data management principles. You will combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, leveraging your experience in consulting and data management to drive measurable business outcomes. Your responsibilities will include: Define data strategies, platform visions, and transformation roadmaps aligned with business objectives. Design data governance frameworks, ownership models, and data management practices Translate business priorities into prioritized portfolios of data & AI use cases with clear business cases Lead the design of data foundations and modern data platforms (e.g. data products) Structure analyses and deliver high-quality, insight-driven strategic recommendations. Lead end-to-end transformation workstreams from discovery to implementation Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders (CDO, CTO, business leaders) Identify opportunities to expand engagements and create additional client value. Contribute to proposals and positioning of Visium’s Data & AI offerings. Mentor consultants and contribute to practice development and thought leadership. What we are looking for 6+ years of experience in data strategy, data platform/foundation design, data management and consulting experience.
