Senior Data Warehouse & Power BI Developer (Training & Support) Brussels, Belgium (Hybrid) Application Deadline: 8 July 2026 We are looking for a Senior Data Warehouse & Power BI Developer to provide expert training, technical guidance, and advisory support for a leading public-sector research organization based in Brussels, Belgium . This assignment focuses on strengthening an internal data management team by delivering tailored Microsoft BI training, supporting advanced reporting initiatives, and providing expert advice on data warehouse and business intelligence best practices. Contract Overview Location: Brussels, Belgium (Hybrid) Start Date: 24 August 2026 End Date: 31 December 2026 Estimated Effort: Approximately 200 hours (around 25 working days) Work Arrangement: Hybrid (on-site training sessions with remote work available) Key Responsibilities Deliver customized Power BI and Data Warehouse training to internal technical teams. Design and facilitate workshops covering: DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) Power Query (M) Data modelling Data visualisation best practices Provide expert support for developing complex Power BI dashboards and reports. Advise on report architecture and dashboard design. Assist with migrating legacy SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reports. Support data warehouse modeling and business intelligence solutions. Work with real organizational datasets to create practical learning experiences. Collaborate closely with developers, database administrators, GIS specialists, and project managers. Technical Environment Microsoft Power BI SQL Server SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) Data Warehousing DAX Power Query (M) ETL AWS-hosted Power BI Report Server Keycloak (Single Sign-On) GitHub Agile methodologies Required Skills & Experience Minimum 5 years' experience in data warehouse modeling. Minimum 3 years' experience with Microsoft Power BI. Strong expertise in: Data warehouse concepts and architecture ETL processes Business Intelligence and reporting Database design Metadata management Experience planning, designing, and building enterprise data warehouse solutions using tools such as Cognos or Datastage. Experience working within Agile development environments. Strong knowledge of Microsoft BI technologies, DAX, and Power Query (M). Ability to deliver technical training and mentor development teams. Dutch language proficiency at the CEFR C2 level is mandatory. Preferred Qualifications Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) certification. Experience delivering technical education or professional training. Previous experience working within the public sector.
