Senior Database Administrator RS-25

These positions are part of the epay Infrastructure Engineering organization, and are a full-time, permanent, hybrid position. The position works in a collaborative environment to support both new business initiatives and stability of existing systems. Aiming to fill a position that will focus on supporting all relational database management systems in our environment, primarily MySQL, MS SQL and PostgreSQL. The ideal candidate would feel a sense of ownership and enjoy being measured on results of high level KPI’s of uptime and project results. Core Responsibilities MySQL · Maintain and support highly available clusters. · Perform monitoring, backups, and routine maintenance. · Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues. Microsoft Server · Basic administration of Windows Server (2016/2019/2022). · Monitor server health and performance. · Troubleshoot OS-level incidents. English Fluency · Ability to communicate effectively via phone and video conference. · Produce clear, formal technical documentation in English.
