Senior Architect | VP Architecture

We are seeking an ambitious, highly agile Senior Architect to join our fast-scaling team. Working alongside our maritime engineering team, you will bridge the gap between high-level creative vision and maritime feasibility to continue the concepts we have already designed and evolve.

Your core mission will be driving the rapid creation of ultra-luxury concepts, compelling presentation packages and detailed drawing sets for global maritime operators.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Architect who enjoys solving complex technical challenges involving a wide range of waterfront & floating structures.

Previous experience in the luxury maritime and yacht industries would be highly beneficial, but architects from other complex sectors will also be considered, provided they can demonstrate strong conceptual delivery experience and a proven track record working through RIBA Stages 4-6.

While ELIRE operates across defense, energy, ports, and cruise terminals, ultra-high-end luxury hospitality, custom waterfront real estate will be your primary remit.

You must be as comfortable pitching visionary concepts to superyacht owners and hospitality executives as you are collaborating with naval architects on class society compliance and structural integration.

What You’ll Do

Drive fast-turnaround, high-impact architectural concepts, spatial layouts, and master plans for luxury floating hospitality, private floating villas, and commercial waterfront developments.

Lead the development of comprehensive drawing packages from initial feasibility and schematic design through to construction-level detailing.

Partner directly with our internal 10+ person maritime engineering team to ensure high-concept architectural designs align seamlessly with buoyancy, stability, MEP, and classification society requirements.

Specify and source suitable materials and modular construction systems built to withstand hard marine environments.

Coordinate internal and external consultants, specialist contractors, shipyards and fabrication partners throughout the design lifecycle.

Who you Are

Master’s degree in building Architecture, Naval Architecture, Interior Architecture or related discipline.

RIBA-registered Architect (or equivalent) with experience in marine consultancy or related sectors.

Strong industry experience in ultra-luxury design (hospitality, bespoke commercial, superyacht interiors/exteriors) and understanding the expectations of UHNW clientele.

Good understanding of the unique design constraints of floating structures, vessel and marine environment requirements.

Extensive experience working across RIBA Stages 4-6.

Proven record working with suppliers, classification societies, and multi-disciplinary teams.

Confident communication and stakeholder management skills; can articulate complex architectural and technical ideas with clarity and polish.

Self-motivated with a proactive attitude with the ability to work flexibility in a dynamic and evolving project environment.

Experienced with:

10+ of architectural design experience, with heavy focus on ultra-luxury hospitality, high-end superyacht design, or boutique maritime infrastructure.

5+ years of direct experience working alongside naval architects, marine engineers or shipyards on floating offshore structures.

Architectural Degree (M.Arch of equivalent); RIBA / AIA Registration (Or international equivalent) strongly preferred.

Expert proficiency in Revit, Rhino 3D, AutoCAD and AI rendering tools for rapid visual delivery.

Strong technical detailing knowledge with a solid grasp of classification society rules and marine safety standards.

Excellent command of written and spoken English language.
