Senior Developer

Role Description The Senior Developer role at Minster WMS is a full-time remote position focused on designing, developing, and maintaining core components of our warehouse management software solutions. Daily responsibilities include implementing new features, optimizing existing functionality, and ensuring the scalability and performance of our SaaS platform. The Senior Developer collaborates with business analysts and other developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions, participates in code reviews, and promotes best practices in software development. The role also involves troubleshooting complex issues in production environments, contributing to architectural decisions, mentoring less experienced developers, and supporting continuous integration and deployment processes.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in software development, including object-oriented programming and modern software engineering practices.
• Proficiency with relevant programming languages and frameworks commonly used in SaaS and WMS solutions (e.g., C#, .NET, Java, or similar), and experience with RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of database design and development, including SQL and relational databases; experience with performance tuning and data modeling.
• Experience with cloud-based architectures and services, preferably in delivering secure, scalable, and highly available SaaS applications.
• Knowledge of supply chain, distribution, or warehouse management domains, or strong interest in learning these areas.
• Familiarity with version control, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and collaborative development tools.
• Ability to analyze complex requirements, propose technical solutions, and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience mentoring developers, contributing to technical standards, and improving development processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Comfort working independently in a remote environment, with strong time management and problem-solving skills.
