We are seeking a Senior C#/.NET Developer to join our Data Content Development team. This is a software development role focused on building and maintaining data-driven applications and solutions that support Sphera's product stewardship and regulatory compliance products.

The ideal candidate is an experienced C#/.NET developer who enjoys working with complex datasets, big data and business rules. You will design, develop, troubleshoot, and enhance applications that process large volumes of data and support critical regulatory and compliance products.

You will work closely with software developers, regulatory analysts, and product teams to translate complex business and technical requirements into scalable, reliable solutions. Experience with regulatory compliance, chemical data, or sustainability-related domains is valuable but not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data-driven applications and solutions using C#/.NET within existing application frameworks.
• Analyze complex business and technical requirements and translate them into efficient, scalable software solutions.
• Work with large datasets and complex data structures while maintaining a strong focus on data quality and performance.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application, database, and data-processing issues.
• Collaborate with software developers, regulatory analysts, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Contribute to application enhancements, performance improvements, system design, and ongoing product development.
• Participate in estimation, planning, testing, deployment, and technical documentation activities.
• Support the maintenance and evolution of large-scale regulatory data products and applications.
• Work independently on complex technical problems and contribute to long-term improvements to the platform.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with C#/.NET development.
• Strong object-oriented programming and software development fundamentals.
• Experience designing, developing, and supporting data-centric or data-driven applications.
• Experience with SQL
• Experience working with large datasets and data processing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work through complex technical and business requirements.

• Experience with Oracle Database.
• Experience with ETL, data transformation, or data-processing solutions.
• Strong abilities with SQL.
• Experience with Git or other source-control systems.
• Experience writing technical specifications and technical documentation.
• Experience working with large-scale or multilingual datasets.
• Knowledge of regulatory, chemical, environmental, product stewardship, or compliance domains.
• Experience working with big data technologies or data management practices.
