Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure)

Project description

A cloud-based AI platform helping Swiss fiduciary firms automate bookkeeping, payroll, and compliance workflows, with a strong focus on security, scalability, and data privacy.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain secure Azure infrastructure for production workloads.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices
• Deploy and operate containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).
• Support the deployment and operation of AI/ML and LLM workloads.
• Implement monitoring, logging, security, and observability.
• Automate infrastructure and operations using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve system reliability and performance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps/Cloud Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, especially AKS and Azure networking.
• Experience with AI/ML, LLM, or AI-powered applications in cloud environments.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, or Bicep)
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Experience with CI/CD, monitoring, and cloud security.
• Strong scripting skills with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Good English communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with GitOps, FinOps, or SRE practices.
• Azure or DevOps-related certifications.
• Familiarity with Swiss / EU data privacy requirements.
