Job Description This is a remote position. Location : Remote Engagement Type : Project-based Assignment; B2B Contract (Outside IR35) Duration : 6 months with auto renew Timezone : CET ± 2 hours Be part of our Global Engineering Network! One of our clients, a leader in IT services is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with deep Microsoft Azure expertise to join their team. He/She act as a trusted advisor, bridging the gap between legacy operations and modern cloud-native practices. Key Deliverables: Design, deploy, and manage enterprise-grade Azure environments (Landing Zones). Architect and maintain Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or Azure Container Apps. Leverage deep working knowledge of Azure PaaS technologies (App Services, SQL Database, Storage Accounts, Service Bus). Implement advanced Azure networking (VNet, Private Link, Hybrid Connectivity, ExpressRoute, Firewall). Build and maintain large-scale platforms using a code-first approach. Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Azure Bicep (or Pulumi). Utilize Azure CLI and Azure PowerShell alongside Bash and PowerShell scripting for automation. Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub. Develop automation pipelines for both infrastructure deployments and application delivery. Manage branching strategies (GitFlow/GitHub Flow) and artifact repositories. Implement monitoring and observability using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics. Define SLIs, SLOs, and lead incident response and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for customer environments. Implement Azure Security Center / Defender for Cloud. Manage identity and access management (Azure AD, RBAC, Managed Identities). Requirements Ideal Profile: 5+ years of recent experience working in a DevOps capacity. Experience developing, deploying, and managing application platforms on Microsoft Azure and Kubernetes within Agile teams. Exposure to software and data engineering technologies, practices, and processes, with a strong understanding of common infrastructure and architectural patterns. Deep Expertise in- Microsoft Azure (PaaS: App Services, SQL Database, Storage Accounts, Service Bus; Networking: VNet, Private Link, Hybrid Connectivity) Terraform and Azure Bicep (or Pulumi) with experience managing large-scale platforms via code-first approaches Azure DevOps and/or GitHub (including pipeline automation for infrastructure and applications) Scripting Languages: Bash, PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Azure PowerShell Kubernetes and Cloud Native projects, specifically Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or Azure Container Apps Why Partner with Us? · Clear scope with no ambiguity over deliverables. · Opportunity for repeat engagements based on performance.
