What We're Looking For:

Our Intelligent Access and Analytics (IAA) Team is looking for a Senior DGAM Deployment and Sustaining Engineer to act as the technical leader for our EMEA and APAC regions. In this highly visible, client-facing role, you will lead the end-to-end rollout, complex IdP/MDM integrations, and critical sustaining support for our innovative Device Guardian Access Management (DGAM) SaaS platform. You will serve as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise customers, troubleshoot complex infrastructure challenges, and develop rapid hotfixes to ensure post-deployment success.

This role is based out of our Brno office in the Czech Republic. We operate on a hybrid work model requiring 3 days per week in the office, with the remaining 2 days flexible to work from home.

Responsibilities:

• Technical Solution Advisory: Act as the regional technical authority during early-stage customer engagements, providing architecture design, platform demonstrations, and technical workshops.
• Integrations & Rollouts: Coordinate end-to-end technical rollouts and architect complex integrations between DGAM, customer Identity Providers (OAuth, SAML), and Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms.
• Sustaining Support & Engineering: Serve as the technical anchor for resolving critical customer escalations, performing deep root-cause analysis, and developing rapid hotfixes.
• Data Integrity & Governance: Monitor data quality metrics and collaborate with data engineers to ensure uncompromising data accuracy, quality, and compliance within our cloud ecosystems.
• Technical Leadership: Mentor team members, define requirements for internal troubleshooting tools, and represent Zebra in senior-level customer technical discussions.
• Documentation & Continuous Updates: Author comprehensive deployment runbooks, maintain architecture diagrams, and continuously implement updates to improve the platform experience.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience (or a Master's degree with 4+ years of experience) in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven track record in production technical support, including hands-on experience managing complex customer-facing technical escalations.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, Kotlin, or JavaScript, alongside proficiency in API testing (e.g., Postman).
• Deep knowledge of native Android frameworks, libraries, and hands-on experience with Android debugging tools.
• Solid experience with cloud architectures (GCP preferred, GCP certification is a plus) and Big Data/ETL tools (Google BigQuery, Firebase, Apache Beam, or Spark).
• Familiarity with modern authentication protocols (OAuth, SAML), relational/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB), and MDM platforms (SOTI, Workspace ONE, Intune).

Incentive Compensation:

In addition to base pay, Zebra offers this role the opportunity to earn a performance-based annual cash incentive, at a target equal to 10% of base pay, in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
