Job Description Summary: Fenwick is seeking a Senior Digital Platform Specialist who will be responsible for the day-to-day health, usability, and consistency of Fenwick’s intranet and external website. This role serves as an internal resource, monitoring the intranet to ensure content remains timely and accurate while supporting department content owners in maintaining and publishing their own pages. On the website side, this role maintains custom web pages, runs regular audits, and safeguards overall site health. The Senior Digital Platform Specialist combines solid HTML and UX sensibilities with strong governance and organizational skills to keep both platforms running smoothly. This position can be based in any of our U.S. office locations and offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing you to work both from home and at your designated Fenwick office. The frequency of in-office work will be determined by business needs and guided by your department's directives. Job Description: Intranet Oversight: Monitor the intranet on an ongoing basis to ensure content remains timely, accurate, and aligned with firm standards, following up with department content owners when content is outdated. Provide support for the intranet platform, including site configuration, navigation, permissions, and user roles. Serve as the escalation point for intranet questions, support requests, and troubleshooting that can’t be resolved by the Service Desk. Coach and mentor department content owners in maintaining and publishing their own intranet pages, providing guidance on standards, templates, and best practices. Co-develop and maintain intranet governance standards, including content lifecycle expectations around freshness, archiving, and quality. Provide recommendations on intranet structure, navigation, and taxonomy to support how people across the firm find and consume information. Document procedures and manage site lifecycle, including archiving and retiring outdated content. Website Maintenance: Build custom web pages using HTML and UX best practices, ensuring pages meet firm standards for quality and consistency. Run regular website audits covering site health, broken links, page performance, accessibility, and content accuracy, and own the resolution of all identified issues. Ensure that website updates are completed in a timely manner, including working directly with external vendors as needed. Monitor website customizations to ensure they meet firm standards and requirements. Provide recommendations on SEO/AEO fundamentals including metadata, tagging, and performance reporting. Work with external data compliance vendor to ensure that the site is up to date on GDPR/CCPA/data privacy regulations. Contribute to larger website initiatives, partnering with cross-team stakeholders. DESIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS To perform the job successfully, an individual should possess the following competencies: Experience working on an intranet platform, including permissions and publishing workflows. Experience maintaining and refining custom web pages using HTML and CSS, with familiarity in JavaScript. Demonstrated ability to run website audits and translate findings into measurable improvements. Strong understanding of web accessibility standards (ADA, WCAG 2.1 AA). Familiarity with SEO & AEO fundamentals, web analytics tools, and performance reporting. Proficiency with the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Teams, OneDrive, and Power Platform. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Proactive in identifying issues and anticipating needs before they escalate. Dedicated to producing detail-oriented work product while displaying grace under pressure. Ability to establish effective working relationships with personnel at diverse levels of the firm. The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of experience supporting intranet platforms, corporate websites, or digital workplace environments, with a strong background in SharePoint Online and hands-on HTML and UX work. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Systems, Information Technology, Digital Media, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. The anticipated range for this position is: $94,000 - $141,250 Depending on the role, the actual base salary offered may depend upon a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. A discretionary bonus for eligible employees may also be available based on performance.
