Senior Digital Project Manager (Shopify)

Perceptiv Digital is a Shopify Premier agency for mid-market Australian retailers turning over $5M to $50M a year. More than 200 projects delivered. Official partner status with Shopify, Google, Klaviyo and Neto/Maropost.

We're hiring one senior person to own the client side of delivery. The portfolio already exists and it's waiting for you. This isn't a role you build into over a year.

What you will actually do

A portfolio of retained ecommerce clients and active builds becomes yours end to end. You scope it, run it, keep it profitable, and sit across the table from the owners of the businesses we grow.

You direct the work. Our Project Lead runs the developers. Because the dev team works in a different time zone, your morning starts by reviewing what landed overnight, and their morning starts with your priorities. Clients see progress every single day.

You will own

• A portfolio of Shopify Plus clients and active build projects, from scope through launch and beyond
• The weekly client WIPs, the briefs, and the hard conversations about scope and hours
• The daily handoff that keeps the dev board full
• Retainer burn, milestone billing and invoicing triggers, tracked through the month rather than at the end of it
• Scoping and estimates for new business, without carrying a sales target
• Working relationships across the Shopify, Klaviyo and integration vendor ecosystem

What we need from you

• Five or more years in agency delivery, digital production, or a blended account and project management role
• Hands on Shopify or Shopify Plus delivery experience. You have run real builds on the platform
• Ecommerce fluency. You can talk conversion rate, AOV and trading numbers with a retailer, not just timelines
• A track record running several concurrent clients without dropping balls
• Comfort owning budgets, hours and commercial conversations
• Experience working with distributed development teams across time zones
• Australian citizen who resides in Australia (Perth preferred)

Replatform experience, integration exposure (MYOB, CIN7, NetSuite, Mirakl) and ClickUp are all a bonus.

What this role is not

Not a scrum master. Not a ticket shuffler. Not an account manager with no technical depth. And not an operations role, so you will not own HR, finance or internal systems.
