Senior Director, Finance Systems

Job Title - Sr. Director, Finance Systems

Location - Fully remote (Candidates must be located in the Eastern United States or Canada)

Must Have Skills:

• Expert-level NetSuite ERP and NetSuite Planning & Budgeting (NSPB) expertise, with the ability to serve as the primary technology leader for both platforms
• Experience with RevPro and/or NetSuite ARM
• Strong finance systems and process expertise spanning reporting, planning, forecasting, revenue recognition, controls, auditability, and financial operations
• 5+ years of people leadership experience managing technical/engineering teams, including both FTEs and contingent resources
• Proven delivery discipline across SDLC/agile practices, multiple concurrent workstreams, roadmap execution, and balancing strategic initiatives with quick wins
• Eager, self-starting leadership style with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, PE-backed environment and partner across functions and geographies

Responsibilities and Job Details:

• Own the delivery, optimization, and ongoing evolution of our client’s core finance technology ecosystem, with primary accountability for NetSuite ERP and NSPB
• Develop and execute against a multi-year Finance Systems vision and roadmap aligned with business priorities
• Lead and develop a team of approximately 2–3 FTE and contingent technical resources
• Partner closely with Accounting, FP&A, Revenue, Finance Operations, Business Applications, Data & Analytics, Technology/Engineering, Sales, Operations, and Product
• Oversee finance-related integrations and data flows across NetSuite, Salesforce, Snowflake, RevPro/Zuora, Concur, and middleware/iPaaS platforms
• Ensure finance systems deliver strong reliability, performance, security, governance, data integrity, controls, auditability, and compliance
• Translate complex finance and business process requirements into practical, scalable technology solutions
• Drive predictable execution across multiple workstreams using disciplined SDLC and agile delivery practices
• Balance longer-term strategic transformation initiatives with quick wins that generate immediate business value
• Provide clear, transparent communication to stakeholders regarding priorities, progress, risks, dependencies, and trade-offs
• Develop and elevate team capabilities through coaching, role optimization, targeted training, and thoughtful hiring
• Bring 10+ years of enterprise finance systems, business applications, or related experience within SaaS, technology, or another digitally driven environment
