The NPI Sourcing organization is responsible for the end-to-end sourcing and procurement process related to Honeywell Aerospace NPI programs. This is a genuinely exciting opportunity to join the NPI sourcing team as we are in the middle of executing sourcing strategy for 100+ NPI programs with a life cycle spend of $10B. Being a member of this team enables you to design the supply chain, execute dual sourcing, award/contract best in class suppliers for products that will be Honeywell’s growth vectors for next 20-30years. We seek a strong Senior Director to lead NPI procurement team with an agile and entrepreneurial mindset.
The NPI Senior Sourcing Director is responsible for leading the Aerospace New Product Introduction (Aero NPI) organization for Electronic Systems Strategic Business Units (SBU). The selected candidate will be responsible for guiding, mentoring and developing a high performance team of Sourcing Program Managers, and Sub-contract Managers to execute on new development programs in the following areas: NPI Sourcing Strategy development, Life Cycle Contracting, Early Supplier Engagement (ESE). They will lead the assigned product families NPI scope of work from concept development to production transition through coordination, negotiation and partnering with ISC teams, Gold Business Enterprises Engineering, Program Management and Customer Business teams. The NPI Senior Sourcing Director will oversee and lead all commercial negotiations with suppliers for NPI programs based on best value economics of the deal.
You will work on a Hybrid work arrangement from one of the following locations: Phoenix, AZ, Tempe, AZ, Deer Valley, AZ, Clearwater, FL, or Norcross, GA.
Additional responsibilities will include:
• Develop, mentor and coach team to achieve best in class sourcing practices to meet short term and long term stake holder needs
• Executing the end-to-end ESE principles including source identification, supplier feedback and disposition, e-auction, and new part contracting meeting UPC, Launch Contribution, and Material Productivity requirements
• Executing > 95% on-time to the product/program families’ cost and schedule with Honeywell Milestone Reporting (HMR) accountability for Category 1 - Category 3 milestones
• Collaborate with new Sourcing Strategy org to develop best in class sourcing strategies for next gen products

MUST HAVE:
• Requires minimum of 7 years of directly related experience in Product/Program Engineering/Sourcing, Customer Business team environment.
• Requires minimum of 3 years previous program management or people management experience.
WE VALUE:
• Requires Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain.
• Must have an executive presence in engaging with supplier and Honeywell leadership with strong influencing skills
• High tolerance for ambiguity and ability to make strategic decisions in such an environment
• Knowledge, skill and experience with wide range of industry standard manufacturing processes for electronics and mechanical components
• Possess financial acumen, understand business metrics and how to impact results with ability to do NPV, IRR, next best alternative analysis
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate project status and program needs across different levels of the organization and different operating environments
• Technical Masters / MBA is a plus.
