About The Role The Senior Director, Strategic Supply Chain Management, owns Volta's end-to-end supply chain strategy — securing the GPUs, critical equipment, and long-lead components that the fleet depends on, at the pace and scale AI infrastructure demands. This is a senior leadership role with direct impact on Volta's ability to scale: the relationships and agreements you build determine how fast the fleet can grow. What You Will Be Doing Own Volta's strategic supply chain strategy across GPU, compute hardware, and critical infrastructure equipment Build and manage relationships with key manufacturers, OEMs, and strategic suppliers Lead supply chain risk management, including capacity planning and single-source risk mitigation Partner with procurement and project teams to align supply chain strategy with fleet build-out plans Negotiate strategic, long-term supply agreements for critical components Monitor global supply chain and semiconductor market trends affecting Volta's roadmap Lead and develop a team supporting strategic sourcing and supply chain planning Represent Volta in strategic conversations with key technology and hardware partners What You Bring Significant experience in strategic supply chain management, ideally within semiconductor, hardware, or technology manufacturing supply chains A track record negotiating long-term strategic supply agreements Deep understanding of GPU/compute hardware supply chains is a strong advantage Strong executive presence and negotiation skills Experience managing supply chain risk at a company or portfolio level Comfortable operating in a fast-scaling, high-stakes environment
