You’ll serve as a senior thought partner to clients and internal leadership, helping shape brand strategy, customer engagement, and integrated marketing plans across the brand lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Get close to client businesses and markets to understand challenges, uncover opportunities, and inform strategic direction.

  • Develop positioning, messaging, customer insights, engagement strategies, and integrated plans that support brand growth.

  • Bring clarity and structure to complex or ambiguous business challenges, turning them into focused and actionable recommendations.

  • Guide strategic thinking across multidisciplinary teams and ensure strategy is translated effectively into execution.

  • Partner with Account, Creative, Medical, Media, and Project Management colleagues to deliver cohesive, high-quality work.

  • Use research, customer insight, competitive intelligence, and commercial understanding to strengthen strategic recommendations.

  • Lead workshops, planning sessions, and client presentations that create alignment and drive progress.

  • Contribute to new business development, including pitch strategy, strategic narratives, client presentations, and workshops.

  • Identify opportunities to deepen client relationships and expand the impact of strategic work.

  • Mentor and support developing strategists while contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team culture.

  • Stay close to emerging customer, market, and industry trends and bring fresh thinking to client challenges.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in brand strategy, strategic planning, account leadership, consulting, marketing, or a related discipline.

  • Experience working in an agency, consultancy, client-side marketing organization, or similarly strategic environment.

  • Strong experience developing brand strategy, positioning, messaging, customer insights, and integrated marketing plans.

  • Demonstrated ability to understand a business, identify meaningful problems and opportunities, and shape a clear strategic response.

  • Experience advising and influencing senior stakeholders through strong thinking, communication, and relationship-building.

  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to connect market dynamics, customer needs, and business objectives.

  • Experience working across complex brands, portfolios, or multi-channel marketing initiatives.

  • Healthcare, pharmaceutical, medical communications, or consumer health experience is preferred, but not required.

  • Experience in account leadership or client services is relevant, particularly where it has been paired with strong strategic ownership.

  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across creative, account, medical, media, and project management disciplines.

  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, presentation, and storytelling skills.

  • A confident, collaborative, and solutions-oriented approach with the ability to influence without authority.
