This role involves designing both large and small commercial, retail, institutional, healthcare, education, federal, and industrial projects. Responsibilities Perform and oversee analysis and design on a variety of commercial and institutional building projects. Collaborate with architects, owners, and contractors to deliver high-quality electrical drawings. Participate with a team of engineers, designers, and drafters to execute electrical designs. Interface with contractors during construction to ensure effective results with minimal complications. Work closely with the Discipline Manager to assist in design and drawing production. Essential Skills Electrical building systems design for commercial, institutional, healthcare, education, or federal projects. Building power distribution design. Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD. California consulting engineering experience. Over 7 years of electrical design experience. Experience coordinating with architects, owners, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams. Additional Skills & Qualifications California project experience. Experience with DSA and HCAI/OSHPD. Knowledge of Title 24. California PE license is a plus. Familiarity with SKM and ETAP. Construction administration experience. Exposure to low-voltage systems. Experience with electrical studies using SKM and/or ETAP. Work Environment The preferred work location is Orange County or Long Beach, with a focus on retention and commute sustainability. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $120000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
