Senior Electrical Engineer

Senior Electrical Engineer – Bloomington, MN (Hybrid) Job Summary: The Senior Electrical Engineer will work in a fast-paced multi-discipline team environment responsible for designing building systems and producing construction documentation for institutional projects in the higher education, government, mission critical and healthcare markets. We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Electrical Engineer to be part of our firm. Responsibilities: Design electrical systems including lighting, power, fire alarm, telecom and security. Develop calculations for lighting systems and associated controls. Develop electrical system design calculations. Prepare detailed design documents in REVIT. Perform QA/QC design work. Lead a project team and manage projects. Coordinate with Owners and Architects. Coordinate work with other disciplines. Complete code compliance research. Oversee and provide guidance to junior engineers. Assist in the procurement of new work, including the development of client relations. Qualifications and Experience: You have a minimum of 8 years’ design experience as registered engineer. (required) You have a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field. You possess a Professional Engineer license, PE (required). You have experience with complex institutional projects. You have LEED experience, certification is desired. You are familiar with codes, standards and design guidelines. Excellent work ethic and attitude. Interpersonal communication skills, combined with organizational skills, the ability to plan, balance and prioritize work. Ability to lead a team as well as work as part of a team. Proficient in Revit and MS Office. Location : Bloomington, MN (Hybrid) Travel : 10% Compensation & Benefits: The expected base salary range for this role is $90,000 - $120,000 USD per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on a number of factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
