We are seeking a highly experienced MEP Senior Engineering Design Consultant with a strong electrical engineering background and extensive experience in mission-critical facilities, commercial real estate, and high-performance workplace environments. The successful candidate will lead MEP design assurance, peer reviews, commissioning verification, and technical coordination activities across global projects, with particular emphasis on electrical infrastructure resilience, critical power systems, and operational continuity. Candidates should possess deep expertise in electrical distribution systems, UPS infrastructure, backup power generation, switchgear, grounding, power quality, and mission-critical redundancy philosophies (N, N+1, 2N). Experience supporting trading floors, banking environments, enterprise ICT facilities, and data centres is highly preferred. The role requires an individual capable of autonomously leading multiple projects, managing engineering consultants, coordinating international stakeholders, and ensuring projects meet global engineering standards, operational resilience requirements, and local regulatory compliance. Strengthened Key Responsibilities (Electrical Focus) Lead technical reviews of mission-critical electrical systems including LV/MV distribution, UPS systems, STS, PDUs, generators, ATS schemes, switchgear, grounding, and critical power infrastructure. Validate electrical resilience and redundancy strategies including N, N+1, 2N and 2N+1 configurations for mission-critical facilities and banking/trading environments. Review and verify electrical system coordination studies, fault level calculations, load flow analysis, arc flash mitigation strategies, and power quality assessments. Lead commissioning verification activities for electrical systems including UPS integrated testing, generator synchronisation/load sharing, black building testing, IST, FAT/SAT witness testing, and emergency power sequence validation. Oversee electrical infrastructure design for trading floors and high-density office fit-outs, including dedicated clean power systems, resilient trading desk distribution, earthing/grounding strategies, and low-latency equipment environments. Coordinate closely with IT, network, and security teams to ensure electrical and ELV infrastructure supports operational resilience and sensitive ICT environments. Review BMS and EPMS integration strategies for critical power monitoring, alarming, energy management, and operational reporting. Ensure compliance with international electrical standards including IEC, IEEE, NFPA 70, NFPA 72, and local Indian electrical regulations and CEA guidelines. Provide technical leadership during vendor reviews, factory testing, commissioning activities, and final operational handover. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering. 10+ years of progressive experience with strong emphasis on electrical engineering design review, commissioning, and mission-critical infrastructure projects. Proven experience delivering electrical systems for data centres, banking/trading environments, critical ICT facilities, or large commercial developments. Strong technical understanding of: LV/MV distribution systems UPS and battery technologies Generator systems and paralleling controls ATS/STS schemes Grounding and earthing systems Power quality and harmonic mitigation Critical power resilience strategies EPMS/BMS integration Experience reviewing electrical studies including short-circuit analysis, protection coordination, load flow, and arc flash assessments. Familiarity with ETAP, SKM, or equivalent electrical analysis software strongly preferred.
