In this role, you'll:
Help us get smarter in how we use energy, by developing and delivering projects that reduce electricity consumption, improve operational efficiency and deliver better value.
Transport has one of NSW’s largest electricity portfolios. As part of our Energy Efficiency Team, you will help identify, develop and deliver energy efficiency initiatives across Transport's diverse asset base. Combining technical energy knowledge with a commercial mindset, you will assess opportunities, develop business cases, coordinate project delivery and track outcomes to ensure projects deliver measurable operational and financial benefits.
Working across a complex organisation, you will collaborate with technical specialists, consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders to develop project scopes, manage procurement activities and support project delivery. You will also analyse energy and operational data, prepare reports and recommendations, and contribute to informed decision-making on energy investment opportunities.
This permanent position is located at the Elizabeth Street office in Sydney CBD. The role is governed by our hybrid working model, which forms part of the organisation's Flexible Working Arrangements and associated procedures. This includes a combination of required onsite attendance at the Elizabeth Street office and approved remote working. Occasional site visits may be required depending on project needs.

About You
You’re a proactive and commercially minded energy professional who can combine technical understanding with practical delivery outcomes. You enjoy solving problems, working with data and collaborating with stakeholders to turn opportunities into well-defined projects that deliver measurable benefits.
Experience in energy efficiency, electrical infrastructure, engineering, renewable energy, asset management would be highly desirable.
