Position: Senior Engineer

Location: Remote, Portugal

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end development across frontend, backend microservices, databases, and deployment pipelines.
• Ensure platform reliability, security, and production readiness.
• Design and optimize APIs, data workflows, and integrations with enterprise environments.
• Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines and testing frameworks.
• Establish engineering standards for code quality, reviews, and release processes.
• Collaborate with product, design, and business teams to deliver technical solutions.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through reviews, pairing, and documentation.

• Python, FastAPI
• React
• PostgreSQL
• AI/ML frameworks, vector databases
• Cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure)

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience building and scaling enterprise-grade applications.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Python (FastAPI preferred) and React.
• Solid experience designing and optimizing PostgreSQL databases.
• Highly desirable: experience with AI/ML integrations, RAG, embeddings, search, or vector databases.
• Proven experience with CI/CD, automated testing, containerization, and cloud deployments.
• Knowledge of enterprise security protocols (SSO, SAML, OIDC).
