Senior ERP Consultant (Systems Accounting)

This is a unique opportunity for a Qualified Accountant to work alongside industry experts, partner directly with clients, and help deliver enterprise systems that genuinely improve business performance. As a Senior ERP Consultant, you will work closely with clients and Account Managers to understand financial and operational processes, translate these into ERP solutions, and support successful implementations. With a strong focus on systems accounting, you will play a key role in bridging finance and technology—ensuring ERP systems are effectively configured, integrated into workflows, and delivering long-term business value. Key Responsibilities Lead ERP implementation projects from discovery through go-live and support Analyse financial and business processes to improve efficiency and controls Configure financial components including General Ledger and Chart of Accounts Design and develop financial reports and analytics Support data migration, validation, and reconciliation activities Investigate and resolve financial and operational system issues Deliver training and guidance to finance and operational stakeholders Work alongside Account Managers to ensure strong client outcomes Contribute to continuous improvement of systems and processes Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA/CPA or equivalent). Extensive experience in Systems Accounting and ERP environments. Proven experience implementing or supporting ERP/accounting systems Deep understanding of financial processes and their integration into ERP systems related to GL, budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance. Strong analytical and problem-solving capability Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Ability to work independently in a client-facing, remote environment Highly Desirable Experience in the fuel, energy, or logistics industries Exposure to SQL, Power BI, Crystal Reports, Sage300, or similar tools Experience working with SaaS or cloud-based ERP solutions Why Join Octane Systems?
