Senior Event Manager | Global Events
Eventcomms AgencyWe are looking for someone who can take ownership of a global event and run with it.
From the first client brief to the final flight home, you will have the experience and confidence to lead the event, own the client relationship, make decisions and bring the right people together to make it happen.
We are Eventcomms Agency, a close-knit Irish team headquartered in Dublin, delivering global events for global clients.
This is a hybrid role. We work mostly remotely, with some time together in our Dublin office, alongside regular international travel for our events.
What You Will Own
You will lead complex corporate events from the first brief to final reconciliation, with one ultimate goal: a brilliant event and a client who wants to work with us again.
That means taking ownership of:
• Client relationships and senior stakeholder communication
• Event plans, timelines, budgets and commercial performance
• Venues, hotels, DMCs, production partners and suppliers
• Event logistics including accommodation, F&B, transfers, registration and offsites
• Event running orders, briefings, production run throughs and onsite operations
• Event risks, challenges and the inevitable curveballs
• Onsite teams, suppliers and partners
• Supporting colleagues and sharing your experience across the team
• Looking for smarter ways to work, including how technology and AI can improve our event planning, processes and client experience
You will have a close-knit team and trusted partners around you, but you will be comfortable taking the lead, making decisions and keeping everyone moving in the right direction.
You Might Be Our Person If...
We give you a complex event and your instinct is to make a plan.
Clients feel confident when you are in the room.
You spot problems early, speak up and come with solutions.
You know when to ask, when to challenge and when to simply make the decision.
You care about the tiny detail on a name badge and the six-figure event budget.
You communicate. Clients and colleagues should not have to chase you to find out where something stands.
And when someone asks, "Can you take this event?", your instinct is to work out how, not wait for a list of instructions.
What You Will Bring
• Strong experience owning and delivering complex corporate events from initial brief through onsite delivery
• Excellent client relationship and communication skills
• Strong budget management and commercial awareness
• Confidence managing multiple events, priorities and deadlines simultaneously
• Experience leading onsite teams, suppliers and partners
• Exceptional attention to detail and sound judgement
• Curiosity about technology, AI and better ways of working
• Flexibility and enthusiasm for international travel
Event agency experience would be a big advantage. We love people who already understand the pace, variety and occasional organised chaos of agency life.
