Level of Experience:

• Executive (Partner level, C-suite > 20 years)

• Director (15 to 20 years)

Utilization per Week: Full-time - 5 days per week

Budgeted Daily Rate: USD 1,200 to 1,500

Must-Have Experience and Skills for Acceptance:

• Minimum of 10 years in healthcare supply chain, covering medicines and medical or surgical supplies from procurement to point of use
• Proven experience analysing large supply chain datasets (procurement, inventory, warehousing and distribution) and turning the findings into efficiency recommendations
• Experience in the Saudi public healthcare sector supply chain is ideal; otherwise, demonstrated experience supporting health system-level supply chains or large provider networks in a leading health system
• Track record of producing client-ready analytical reports with prioritised recommendations, in a consulting or advisory capacity

Scope of Work:

• Programme overview: A regional management consultancy is seeking an experienced healthcare supply chain expert to support an ongoing analytical review of the medical supply chain of a Saudi public sector healthcare entity. The review covers medicines and surgical equipment, end to end, from the moment a need is identified to the moment the item reaches the end user, whether a patient or a surgeon.
• Scope: The scope of work includes:
• Analyse the supply chain data received from the client, including warehouse data
• Challenge the data: test its quality and flag anomalies, outliers and other areas that stand out
• Identify bottlenecks and efficiency opportunities across the supply chain cycle
• Produce an end-of-project report with recommendations to speed up the cycle and improve efficiency

Sector / Industry Experience: Healthcare & Life Sciences (hospitals, pharma, biotech, medtech)

Education Level: Postgraduate Degree, Undergraduate Degree

Specific Client or Work Experience: Public healthcare sector, national health systems, large healthcare provider networks

Specific Geographic Experience: Ideally Saudi Arabia or the GCC

Other Additional Information: On-site/local presence would be ideal, but the client may consider remote support for candidates with the right expertise and background.
