We're creating the brand mature consumers actually want—sophisticated formulations, honest claims, and products designed around how skin, lashes, and lips change with age. We're building for the 50+ consumer: an underserved, ingredient-literate audience that expects products to genuinely perform. As an early-stage, well-funded venture moving quickly, we're looking for a Senior Eye Make-Up Product Developer to join us in an advisory capacity. Your expertise will help shape our eye category, influence key product decisions, and guide development from concept to launch. Get ready to Shape the future of a new pro-age beauty brand built for the 50+ consumer Advise on the development of high-performance eye make-up products, from concept through launch Work directly with founders, influencing key product and technical decisions from day one Bring technical expertise to supplier and manufacturer conversations, ensuring the highest product standards Help build a product portfolio that genuinely serves an overlooked consumer segment We expect you to Lead technical advisory across the eye make-up category, including mascara, eyeliner, brow products, and adjacent innovations Guide formulation strategy, ingredient selection, performance targets, and commercial trade-offs. Advise on product assortment, claims, shades, and category expansion based on deep industry expertise Design and oversee product validation programmes, including wear testing, ophthalmologist testing, consumer panels, stability studies, and PET Evaluate manufacturers' technical proposals and challenge recommendations when needed Support sourcing and selection of contract manufacturers and raw material suppliers Stay ahead of EU cosmetic regulations, ingredient developments, claim substantiation requirements, and emerging clean beauty trends Share practical expertise gained from developing and launching successful colour cosmetic products Collaborate confidently with cross-functional teams in English within a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment Contribute as a trusted strategic advisor while remaining hands-on during critical product development milestones Salary This is a part-time advisory role. Roughly 2-3 days per month to start, with flexibility to scale up during active development phases. Compensation is a monthly retainer plus hourly-based upside and bonus on successfully launched products — we'll structure this to work for someone senior who values interesting projects and equity in outcomes over hours logged.
